London-In a notable medical progress in reproduction treatment, British experts said on Wednesday that around half the number of couples who face difficulty in this matter can increase their opportunities through an available, cheap medicine for angina pectoris treatment.

Experts at CARE Fertility, UK’s largest private fertility clinic, revealed in a study published in BioMedicine Online Magazine that it has been discovered that the man is also responsible for abortion cases due to a genetic deformity.

Two years ago, researchers exposed that 44% of couples who resort to in-vitro fertilization operations have genetic deformity that leads to abortion, blood clots and problems in fetus growth.

Experts said that one injection of anticoagulant Heparin might help in child bearing and achieving the dream of couples who have been trying to have a baby since years. This drug increases the probability of pregnancy from 0% to 40% during the treatment course.

Mike, 53, and Nicola Abberley, 41, tried to have children throughout 16 years. Pregnancy occurred after an in-vitro fertilization operation and lasted for 16 weeks only. After examining them, doctors at CARE Fertility diagnosed that both of them have genetic deformity. Thus, they were prescribed Heparin and they now have a twin.

Dr. Simon Fishel from CARE Fertility, the one who supervised the research, said that it has been proven for the first time that cure is possible despite the existence of this genetic sign.
