ABU DHABI, (Reuters) – Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank posted a second-quarter net profit of 193.4 million dirhams ($52.65 million), down 30 percent from the year-earlier period, it said in a statement on Wednesday.
The company made a net profit of 193.4 million dirhams in the second quarter of the year, compared with 275.7 million dirhams a year earlier, the firm said in a regulatory filing.
The bank said it took 171.4 million dirhams in provisions against credit losses during the second quarter of 2009.
