10 New All-Female Communication Complexes in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh – Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced the establishment of ten new all-female communication complexes in Saudi Arabia. This comes following the ministerial decision of Saudization of the sale and maintenance of mobile telephones and their accessories sector.

In August, Riyadh witnessed the opening of the first women’s telecom complex.

Deputy Minister for Special Programs Abdulmunim al-Shehri said that the ministry continues to grant facilities for businessmen and investors in the telecommunication sector to create new job opportunities for Saudi women or their ownership of projects in the telecom sector.

Shehri confirmed that the ministry will continue to support Saudi men and women through training programs and maintenance workshops done by Technical and Vocational Training Corporation in line with the National Transformation Program 2020 and Saudi Vision 2030.

He said that authorities will provide financing and training programs for many Saudi men and women to enter into the telecommunications sector and run their shops.

Deputy Minister called on business owners and investors to take advantage of its programs and support in this field and to grant Saudi female workers job opportunities.
