Tatweer to Sponsor Saudi-UAE Economic Forum | ASHARQ AL-AWSAT English Archive 2005 -2017

Riyadh, Asharq Al-Awsat- Tatweer, a leading conglomerate and part of Dubai Holding, has announced it will be the main sponsor of ‘The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia-UAE Economic Forum’ to be held in Riyadh on 13-14 May.

The event at the Riyadh Four Seasons Hotel is held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of Riyadh, and attended by Her Excellency Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, UAE Minister for Economy and His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Salman, Chairman of Saudi Research & Publishing Company, as well as high-level delegates, officials and businessmen from both the countries.

The Forum organized by Asharq Al Awsat with the official support of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce & Industry and the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

Tatweer CEO Khalid Al Malik will be a speaker at the session entitled ‘Future Investment Horizons’. Arif Mubarak CEO of Bawadi and Dr. Muhadditha Al Hashimi, CEO of Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), will also be part of Tatweer’s high-ranking delegation.

To promote awareness about its varied business interests, it has reserved a 250 square meters lounge at the Four Seasons Hotel where it will showcase its entities including Dubai Healthcare City, Dubailand, Bawadi, Universal City Dubailand, Dubai Industrial City, Mizin, The Tiger Woods Dubai, Dubai Energy, Moutamarat, Dubai Mercantile Exchange, and Global Village.

‘The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia-UAE Economic Forum’ will be a catalyst for discussions on the economies of Saudi Arabia and the UAE and their futures, as well as providing a platform to debate the risks and opportunities in the emerging economies. It will also discuss key topics on future challenges facing the Gulf countries.
