Saudi Minister of Labor signs memorandun of understanding with his Morrocan counterpart

Riyadh-Saudi Minister of Labor, Dr Moufarrej bin Saad Al-Haqbani signed a memorandum of understanding with his counterpart the Minister of Employment and Social Affairs of Morocco, Abdul Salam al-Siddiqi on labor field.

The Saudi-Moroccan’s MoU aims at enhancing cooperation and exchange of experiences between the two countries through providing each party with information on mechanisms for organizing labor market and the best global practices that are currently applied.

The Memo’s signing came on the sidelines of the activities of the Third Global Forum on Employment Public Policies, which was held in Marrakech, Morocco, on the 2nd and 3rd of March. The Saudi delegation to the Forum was headed by Dr Al-Haqbani.

The Forum displayed experiences related to Macroeconomic policies and employment policies that combine government interventions and private sector interventions that reduce inequalities and disparities between regions and groups.

Saudi Arabia has also signed a similar MoU with Jordan and is working on signing many memorandums of understandings with a number of European countries, aiming at enhancing and transferring experiences related to labor field.
