Doha- Qatar”s central bank has revised up its figure for economic growth in the second quarter of this year to 10 percent from 6.8 percent.

The central bank also revised down its figure for M2 money supply growth in the first quarter to 11.6 percent from 21.2.

The bank put M2 growth at 1.8 percent in the third quarter compared with 11.8 percent in the second.

No reasons were given for the revisions announced on the bank”s Web site. Qatar”s economy grew 4.8 percent in the first quarter and 20.5 percent in 2004.
