Pakistani-South Korean Bilateral Trade at $843 million | ASHARQ AL-AWSAT English Archive 2005 -2017

ISLAMABAD, Asharq Al-Awsat – The volume of bilateral trade between South Korea and Pakistan went up to $843 million in the first 10 months of the current calendar year, officials said.

Last year the bilateral trade between the two countries had topped one billion dollars.

Of the bilateral trade, exports from Korea to Pakistan amounted to $550 million whereas imports $293 million.

In 2006 as many as 15 Pakistani delegations visited Korea whereas five Korean delegations came to Pakistan.

Korea invested more than $21 million in the industrial, construction and transportation sector of Pakistan including the joint ventures.
