Singapore- Crude futures fell Monday to just above US$60 a barrel with warmer-than-usual weather across much of the United States easing concerns about winter heating fuel demand.

Mid-afternoon in Singapore, light, sweet crude for December delivery fell 39 cents to US$60.19 a barrel in Asian electronic trading on the New York Mercantile

Exchange. The contract lost US$1.20 to settle at US$60.58 a barrel Friday.

December Brent crude futures in London”s ICE Futures exchange fell 13 cents to US$59.12 a barrel, the Associated Press reported.

Nymex December heating oil fell 1.62 cents to US$1.7800 a gallon (3.8 liters) while gasoline declined 1.35 cents to US$1.5945.
