NCB Donates SR 2 Million to Pakistan Earth Quake Victims | ASHARQ AL-AWSAT English Archive 2005 -2017

Jeddah, Asharq Al-Awsat- The National Commercial Bank (NCB) announced its donation of SR 2 Million to the Earth quake victims of Pakistan. The announcement was made during the Saudi Channel One broadcast on air in participation with the MBC channel last Sunday.

Sheik Abdullah Salem Bahamdan, Chairman and Managing Director of NCB, stated that the banks contribution to this charity campaign is in response to the royal instructions to support the charity campaign which embodies the principle of brotherhood, compassion towards others in times of crisis and relate to worldly affairs, since the kingdom influences and is influenced by what happens in the international arena.

Mr. Abdul Kareem Abu AlNasr, General Manager of NCB, urged all employees of the bank to contribute to the campaign in unity with the disaster victims seeking Gods acceptance especially during this holy month and in affirmation of the banks sincere values. Mr. Abu AlNasr assured that the response of the banks administration and employees reflects the reaction of the Saudi citizen to the campaign directed and organized by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, to ease the trauma of victims of the earthquake disaster with full knowledge of the leading role our mindful government is taking in the Islamic, Arab and regional sphere.

In addition to the banks donation, the bank has designated an account that is numbered 7777 at all its branches in the kingdom to receive donations supporting the campaign, in addition to an account especially for bank employees to deposit their donations.
