Riyadh, Asharq Al-Awsat- Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized here yesterday evening a lecture on the impact of the admission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the World Trade Organization (WTO) on the Saudi Consumer.

The lecture was delivered by Advisor of the Minister of Commerce and Industry and chief of the negotiations technical committee for the Kingdom”s admission to the WTO Dr. Fawaz bin Abdul-Sattar Al-Alami.

The lecturer shed light on the new world trade system, stages of the admission of Saudi Arabia to the WTO and the impact of the admission on the sectors of commodities and services, in addition to impact of the admission on the Saudi systems and the expected investment opportunities.
