WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner will take his global currency cooperation agenda back on the road next week, traveling to Asia and the Middle East for summits and meetings with major foreign finance ministers and leaders.

The Treasury said on Friday that Geithner will attend a meeting of finance ministers from the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation countries on November 5-6 in Kyoto, Japan, and the Group of 20 leaders summit in Seoul on November 11-12.

In between the two summits, Geithner will travel to Delhi to join President Barack Obama for meetings with India’s leadership and also will visit Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates and Singapore.

Geithner will depart on November 4 and return to Washington on November 13. Additional details on his schedule will be made available in the days ahead, the Treasury said.
