London, (SPA) – An economic forum was held here today to discuss investment in the Arab Gulf region.

President of the council of the financial market commission Dr. Abdulrahman Altwaijri participated in the forum in addition to senior economic officials of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the United Kingdom.

The forum’s opening was attended by Prince Mohammad bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi ambassador to the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Dr. Altwaijri delivered a speech in which he underlined the strength and advantages of the Saudi economy and highlighted support for various Saudi economic sectors provided by the Saudi government.

Dr. Altwaijri stated that the Saudi financial market plays a vital role in the success of the privatization programs adopted by the state and explained the process of development and reform undergone by the Saudi financial market.
