ISLAMABAD, Asharq Al-Awsat – Pakistan received foreign remittances amounting to $811.85 million during the first two months (July-August) of the current financial year, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The inflow of remittances during the two months were from the United States, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman, the United Kingdom and other European countries, Canada, Australia, Norway, Switzerland, Japan as well as other friendly countries.
