Cairo, May 26, SPA — Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Nazeef received here Saudi Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. Hashim bin Abdullah Yamani.

During the meeting, they discussed issues pertaining to ways of expanding trade between the two countries as well as facilitating joint ventures between businessmen from the two countries.

Saudi ambassador to Egypt and Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps Ibrahim bin Saad Al-Ibrahim and Egyptian Minister of Foreign Trade and Industry Eng. Rasheed Mohammed Rasheed attended the meeting.

Following the meeting Dr. Yamani said that Dr. Nazeef welcomed the growing cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt in the Commercial and Industrial fields.

On his part, Eng. Rasheed said Saudi Investments in Egypt increased to $8 billion, adding that the volume of the bilateral trade reached $650 million.
