Cairo, Asharq Al-Awsat – The value of trade exchange between Egypt and Italy reached 2.5 billion Euros last year while Italian exports to Egypt increased by 2.5%.
The statistics of the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce, published in newspapers today said a large number of Italian companies already started their business activities in Egypt.
Machines and transport materials industry came on top to account for 47% of the total Italian export valued at 659 million euros, while combustible materials Industry came in the second position accounting for 46% of total Italian exports valued at 578 million euros.
