Riyadh- Dubai Supreme Council of Energy (DSCE) held a meeting in Riyadh on Wednesday to promote the 3rd edition of Emirates Energy Award 2017 and to unveil its activities.

“Saudi Arabia is considered a major station for promoting the Emirates Energy Award, given the huge improvement in the field of clean energy through the means and techniques adopted in rationalizing energy consumption. The kingdom is an important partner in the sustainable development process and in pushing the renewable energy sector forward as well as combatting future challenges,” said Secretary General of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy (DSCE) Ahmad Buti Al Muhairbi.

Muhairbi added that that award represents an ideal platform for all sectors to participate and showcase their latest innovations. “It also provides an encouraging environment to exchange ideas, visions and expertise in the fields of renewable energy and sustainable development,” he added.

He concluded that there are hopes pinned on participants from Saudi Arabia to present the best innovations, techniques and solutions to enrich the award and reinforce competition.
