Saudi Arabia and Jordan also wished success to the Arab Summit.

On Wednesday, a historic Arab Summit is expected to kick off in The Dead Sea with hopes to revive the Arab solidarity and political momentum, witnessed in the participation of all Arab leaders at the summit.

The hosting country, Jordan, seeks to soften the Arab atmosphere by providing the suitable setting to the summit that could witness a series of Arab reconciliations and meetings.

The final statement that Arab leaders already agreed on includes 17 items, on top of which stand the Palestinian cause and the crisis in Syria.

The summit is held in the presence of 16 Arab kings, princes and presidents, while five other nations will be represented at the highest political levels. The only absent country is Syria, whose Arab League membership was suspended in 2011. However the Syrian flag and seat will be reserved during the summit meeting.
