Ankara – Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim accused foreign forces of targeting Turkey, noting that his government was “aware of games” being played to destroy his country.

Addressing reporters following his visit to the families of terror attack victims in Turkey’s eastern Agri province on Saturday, Yildirim said “the same games” that are currently played in Syria and Iraq were used in Turkey to achieve similar goals.

The Turkish prime minister said those who make such plans in Turkey were at “the wrong address.”

On Thursday, seven village guards, a specialist sergeant and a soldier were killed by the Kurdistan’s Workers Party (PKK) in an attack in eastern Agri province, according to officials. Three soldiers and two civilians were also injured in the same attack.

Yildirim said operations against the PKK group will continue “until our citizens’ security is ensured 100 percent.”

“Operations against this cowardly terror group [PKK] will continue until attacks against our gendarmerie, police and rural guards are completely over,” he said.

“Our country has been putting up with this bitter struggle against terrorism for many years,” the Turkish premier added.

Meanwhile, Turkish police arrested 25 people on Saturday under suspicion of belonging to ISIS. Those are suspected of planning a terrorist attack in Istanbul, Turkish authorities said.

Police authorities also seized many documents and electronic tools that belong to ISIS in a place used to gather ISIS members in Istanbul.

This campaign was preceded by the arrest of four people on Friday on the basis of intelligence information that stated that the terrorist organization ISIS is planning to target the British and German embassies in Ankara.
