Ankara- Abdulkadir Masharipov, murderer of New Year’s Eve, continued to unveil exciting details on the armed attack executed by him in Reina Club, only 75 minutes after the beginning of 2017.

Masharipov revealed that he received videos about Reina nightclub from ISIS leaders in Raqqa and that he watched them over and over again to get familiar with the place before attending it.

Turkish media reported that his Uzbek wife contributed in directing the police to his location — he was arrested due to her jealousy after knowing there are three women at his place of residence.

Masharipov said that he watched the videos for a couple of times because he is not used to attend such luxurious places and isn’t familiar with its inside design. After he was confirmed that Reina nightclub is the main target Masharipov received the videos from ISIS in Raqqa then brought his weapon from Zeytinburnu and moved to execute the attack.

The majority of videos were downloaded from social network websites and the nightclub’s page, reports revealed. When asked why he killed the club attendees, he replied “because they are disbelievers.

On the 11th of January, security bodies arrested the murderer wife in Pendik and she confessed that her husband resides in Esenyurt but denied knowing the exact address. After investigating, Turkish security bodies reached his shelter and arrested him along with three other women: Diana, 27, from Senegal, Aysha, 27, from Somali, Tene, 26 from Egypt.

Turkish media reported that Masharipov got three women from ISIS as a reward after killing 39 and injuring 65 others.

For his part, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that his state has exited the defense position and moved to attacking terrorist organizations whether inside Turkey or outside it.
