Riyadh-Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior patronized the launching of the tactical exercise of the Special Emergency Forces “Sawlat Al-Haq 8 “.

Upon arrival at Prince Nayef Center for Special Operations and Developed Applications in Dhurma, the Crown Prince was received by Director of the Public Security Gen. Othman bin Nasser Al-Muhrij, Brigade Khaled al-Harbi and a number of senior officials.

Before starting the exercise, the Crown Prince received directors and commanders of security, emergency and gendarme from Gulf, Arab and Islamic states, who are currently present in the Kingdom to attend the exercise.

Then a reception ceremony took place and the Director Gen. of the General Security addressed the audience, welcoming the Crown Prince, and asserting the readiness of the security forces to confront all outlaws and defend their homeland, praying to the Almighty Allah to protect the land, under the wise leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Crown Prince and the Deputy Crown Prince.

He also explained that “Sawlat al-Haq” exercise comes to the right, justice and prestige of the Kingdom. He added that the Saudi people have proved through history their willingness to represent the greatest meanings of the Arabic and Islamic responsibility in caring for Islam and Muslims.

Following the reception ceremony, the Crown Prince watched an event under the motto: “Documenting a Leader’s Procession”, where a number of graduate-officers presented shooting tactics on targets, which after being hit, reflected information depicting the procession of the Crown Prince, since being appointed as the assistant to the Minister of Interior until being appointed as the Crown Prince.

The Crown Prince attended a number of other exercises and events, too, before he and the accompanying delegation left the venue.

In press statements following the ceremony, Director of the Public Security Gen. Othman bin Nasser Al-Muhrij, emphasized that the military exercise delivers a clear message for whoever is trying to tamper the Kingdom’s security, religion and sanctities; confirming the readiness of all the sectors to combat terrorism.

In addition, regarding the coming Hajj and Umrah’s plan, Al-Muhrij confirmed that they will benefit from the past experiences for the success of the new plan.

Concerning the crime that led to the death of Colonel Kitab Majed al-Hammadi, who was shot dead to martyrdom by unknown attackers at Al-Arja center in Al-Dawadmi province west Riyadh, Al-Muhrij commented, “The crime was painful for everyone and it increased the persistence of the public security and the security bodies to eradicate terrorist groups.”

On the other hand, Brigade Khaled al-Harbi said that the governmental bodies are working on practical applications using ammunitions of all types, giving emphasis to quality not quantity in military training. What is happening with security men nowadays has turned them more determined to end crime and terrorism, he added.
