The program, Wafi, aims to involve real estate developers and specialists in real estate field to come up with a balanced work that contributes in establishing a market that stays in line with global markets, achieves the aspirations of Saudi Vision 2030 and provides suitable accommodation for citizens at reasonable prices.

According to the Ministry of Housing, the real estate developers’ portal has been able to request sales licenses on the map and to upload all necessary documents electronically without the need to visit the Ministry’s branches in the country.

The Ministry stressed that Wafi is one of the programs that supports achieving the initiatives of the Saudi Vision 2030 since the e-system of the program is one of the initiatives the Ministry has been seeking to organize electronically.

Saudi Minister of Housing Majed al-Hogail said that launching this e-portal will save the beneficiaries and real estate developers some time and will attain the Ministry’s strategic goals that go in line with the Saudi National Transformation Program 2020 and Saudi Vision 2030.

Notably, the e-portal aims at supporting the supply and enabling the demand, raising the proportion of ownership of houses and facilitating the process through offering various options, high quality and favorable prices.

“The Ministry of Housing seeks serving Saudi citizens and helping them in achieving more stability and economic-social welfare,” Hogail told reporters, noting that the Ministry has launched this platform to facilitate the process of following up sales and leasing on the map in all areas in Saudi Arabia with ease, efficiency and competence.
