London-The political conflict among main parties in the rule about regional forces has aggravated. Each party is adhering to its stance in which the ruling Sudan People’s Liberation Movement announced disapproval of any regional force entrance to the country. However, Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-in-Opposition emphasized the important role of these forces in protecting Juba and facilitating the return of first vice president Riek Machar.

Ruling Sudan People’s Liberation Movement, headed by South Sudanese President Salva Kiir, stated in a release that the party refuses entrance of any additional soldier noting that the U.N. forces spread in South Sudan are enough. In the statement, Machar was called for returning to Juba to handle his missions and to implement the peace agreement.

Yet the statement added, “The opposition leaders at the SPLM-In Opposition affirmed that its cooperation with the government to execute the agreement will not stop; this is highly appreciated and we will show mutual cooperation to settle security and stability”.

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon addressed IGAD earlier to put an end to the conflict in South Sudan and consider the possibility of deploying a regional military force in Juba plus imposing an embargo at weapons’ purchasing and punishing criminals involved in the recent events that led to 300 victims.

From his part, Sudan People’s Liberation Movement In Opposition spokesperson Manawa Peter said that the movement deputed leaders to the African Union Summit in the Rwandan capital Kigali to hold meetings with the participating delegations and to deliver the stance of Machar in regards to the future of peace process in Sudan and importance of spreading regional forces to avoid military confrontations.
