Dubai – Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan confirmed that no Sunni country supports the terrorist organization ISIS, while the state of Wilayat al-Faqih is not hesitant to support terrorist groups.

The FM statement came in response to Emirati Academic Abdul Khaleq Abdullah on Twitter.

Abdullah tweeted saying that there are moderate Shiites and moderate Sunnis, and just as there are Shiites who support the Iranian PMF, there are Sunnis who support ISIS.

This comes at the time retired General Mohammad Ali al-Falaki, who is also an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commander deployed to Syria, said that IRGC had established “Shia Liberation Army” (SLA).

SLA falls under the command of Brigadier General Qassem Soleimani, the commander of al-Quds Force.

Speaking to the Mashregh news agency, Falaki said that SLA is now operating across three fronts in Syria, Iraq and Yemen. He confirmed that the force is not composed of Iranians only, but of fighters of every area where there are wars.

The main goal of this army is to eliminate Israel, according to Falaki. “Forming the first nucleus of the liberation army has the objective that, God willing, we will not have anything called Israel in 23 years,” he said. He added that Iranian-led troops are already stationed by Israel’s border.

Falaki praised the sacrifices of the Afghani Fatemiyoun brigades. He said: “The Shiite Afghani Fatemiyoun Brigade, which is participating in the fighting in Syria, is considered the core of the “Shia Liberation Army” which we are looking forward to establish, in order to include and unify all Shiites from all communities and sects in the world.”

“We reached advanced and positive results by applying this plan in Syria. Every fighter is paid $100 US dollars monthly,” Falaki added.

Falaki revealed that the militias are in Syria alongside with other militias like Haidareyon, Zaynabeyon, and Hezbollah brigade formed of Iraqi and Syrian Hezbollah. They all fight under the command of IRGC with one uniform, one flag, and one military organization.
