Washington – The long-secret “28 pages” submitted to congressional inquiry was the center of attention of analysts and observers revealed Saudi Arabia had no role in the 9/11 attacks.

The pages released Friday contained no hard evidence of any role played by the kingdom in the plot, which killed nearly 3,000 people.

Congressmen and political analysts called for end of all theories that accuses Saudi Arabia in September attacks.

Chairman of the Senate intelligence committee Senator Richard Burr urged the public to read the results of other investigations by the CIA and FBI that “debunk” many of the allegations, and put conspiracy theories to rest.

Chairman Devin Nunes added, that “it’s important to note that this section does not put forward vetted conclusions, but rather unverified leads that were later fully investigated by the Intelligence Community.”

Meanwhile, member of the senate intelligence pane Senator Adam Schiff said he hoped the release would quiet rumors.

“The Intelligence Community and the 9/11 Commission, which followed the Joint Inquiry that produced these so-called 28 pages, investigated the questions they raised and was never able to find sufficient evidence to support them,” he said.

Senator Schiff added, “I hope that the release of these pages, with appropriate redactions necessary to protect our nation’s intelligence sources and methods, will diminish speculation that they contain proof of official Saudi government or senior Saudi official involvement in the 9/11 attacks.”

Former Senator Bob Graham, who pushed hard for the last chapter of the inquiry’s report to be released, believes the hijackers two-thirds of the people involved in the attacks used to live in Florida.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest spoke at a press conference yesterday Saturday saying that the pages released showed no new information and no evidence of Saudi complicity.

“It will confirm what we have been saying for quite some time,” he said.

Obama administration assured that the 28-pages didn’t change any conclusions about those responsible for September 11.

The results prompted a series of tweets from Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Adel al-Jubeir on his official account in which he said, “The Kingdom welcomes the release of the 28 pages. It is time to bring an end to the speculation and conspiracy theories.

The 28 pages were reviewed at the highest levels of US intelligence. The facts are clear: The Saudi government played no role in 9/11. Now that the declassification is complete, we hope to continue our close cooperation with the U.S. in the fight against terrorism.”
