According to offical Government reports 17 soldiers were killed along with over a hundred opposition combatants from a group, formerly known as Ansar Bait al-Maqdis (ABM), claiming allegiance to the organisation calling themselves the Islamic State (IS) in 15 seperate attacks on Al-Arish and Sheikh Zuwayid.
