Riyadh – Saudi Arabia and France are expected to sign several cooperation agreements on Tuesday, within the framework of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program 2020 (NTP 2020).

In comments to Asharq al-Awsat newspaper, Vice-President of the French-Saudi Business Council Fayez Al-Alwit said that the visit of Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to Paris has achieved its desired goals, as France expressed its full trust in Saudi Arabia’s development plans within the Vision 2030.

He added that Saudi Arabia has gained French officials’ confidence in Saudi human and natural capabilities and in the Kingdom’s commitment to work towards achievement of its objectives through successful strategic partnerships.

Alwit also noted that meetings held between the Saudi delegation and French officials also tackled political, security and economic issues. He added that the French-Saudi Business Council will convene on Tuesday, in the presence of prominent Saudi and French businessmen.

He also said that Saudi and French officials will look into means to attract French investments to Saudi Arabia, especially in the fields of energy, transport, environment and infrastructure, as well as agriculture, health, education and training. They will also discuss mutual agreements with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program 2020.
