The slogan of this revolution calls for believing in only one God, the Almighty, its members to be subjects of God, and then for countries to be unified under Islamic Sharia Law. This is the greatest revolution in the present era in terms of its impact, depth, influence, and message; it is an extremely powerful revolution with distinct features. This is the Islamic revolution, based upon the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet, following a moderate approach, and targeting all people under the banner of God Almighty and the unity of hearts. It is a revolution that has brought together more than 5 opposing countries, and more than 100 rival warring tribes. It is a revolution that ended myths, idolatry and heresy, and put an end to division and dissension. It put an end to strife and animosity, denounced thieves and bandits, secured paths for reconciliation and brought the people together. This was a revolution that renewed the concept of faith and brought communities together, refuting the sabotage and corruption on earth. This was a revolution whose primary statement was “there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah”, whose secondary statement was “there is no ruler but Allah”, and whose third statement was “we are in the midst of moderation, with no excessiveness or negligence.”

I have read the history of revolutions throughout the centuries of time, and I have found this revolution to be the purest, most comprehensive, most resonant and most rightly-guided. It was a revolution that erupted like a volcano in the epicentre of revelation, the cradle of the message, the birthplace of light and the Mecca of the world. It was a revolution which combined the origins of Arabism, the heroes of struggle, the custodians of glory, the protectors of the creed, the great grandsons of the Muhajirun and the Ansar, and the dynasty of conquerors and innovators. It was not a pan-Arab revolution but an internationally divine one. It was not a partisan revolution but a monotheistic and unifying one. It was not a communist revolution but a legitimate Islamic one. It was not a socialist revolution but a Sunni Mohammedan one. It was not a Capitalist revolution but a divine, prophetical one. It was a revolution that shattered the barracks of charlatans and sorcerers, and devastated atheists and impostors. The call for prayer was thereafter raised, and useful knowledge was disseminated from the pulpits. The sword of justice was drawn to deter the unjust and defend the oppressed. Schools and universities were set up, spiritual and temporal activities were practiced together, mosques and factories were constructed alike, the north was linked to the south and the east to the west, and the clans became part of a larger family.

The basic legitimate foundation of this revolution is Islam, as a creed, as devotion, and as a way of life. This revolution abolished ordinances, repealed man-made constitutions, crushed misleading principles and fake teachings, and replaced them with the Holy Text and pure revelations. The revolution worshiped the one and only Almighty God; his messenger Muhammad Ibn Abdullah (PBUH), the constitution of Islamic Shariaa Law, and the direction of the Kaaba. The revolution’s wish is to please God and its final abode is paradise.

This revolution unified an area equalling Western Europe and extending from the Arabian Gulf to the Atlantic Ocean, from the earth to the sky, from the cradle to the grave, and from the mihrab (prayer niche) to the highest paradise. In praise of this revolution and its leader, poets have composed numerous wonderful verses.

It is the revolution of the modern times; it is the talk of leaders. It is the revolution which outdid every other. This is why it emerged victorious, reaped its rewards, raised its pillars, hoisted its flags, and made the universe hear its voice. Anyone doubting the sincerity of this revolution and its impact should visit the Arabian Peninsula and pray in the Grand Holy Mosque of Mecca. They should stop over at the Najd Highlands, ascend the highest point in Asir province, embrace the mountains of Aja and Salma, immerse themselves in the palm trees of al-Ihsaa province, and walk through the gardens of al-Qassim province.

In the present era, it is the revolution of the Saudi people. The revolution’s leader was King Abdul Aziz Ibn Abdul Rahman al Saud, God rest his soul.
