Hurghada – Hurghada, which has been designated as the best Arab tourist destination in 2015, is considered one of the most renowned cities of the Red Sea, where people can enjoy a special vacation and many sea and water activities.

Although tourism in many Egyptian cities has suffered following the crash of the Russian airplane, Hurghada has remained the top destination for tourists coming from Russia and Eastern Europe.

City hotels have been crowded with Polish, German, Italian and Russian tourists who refused to comply with travel ban procedures in their countries.

Polish Tourist Kami Polark said that she is visiting Hurghada for the second time to enjoy the entertainment and hospitality of the city. She added that tourists can practice many activities within a charming nature and beautiful beaches with affordable prices.

Sameh al-Najjar, reception manager in Sunrise Garden Beach Resort, told Asharq Al-Awsat that reservations have reached 60%, recording the best rate among other Egyptian cities and countries in the Middle East.

Hurghada hosts around 180 hotels that range between luxurious resorts and regular hotels, but the city represents a great choice for party lovers and families, as it offers entertainment facilities and provides activities along with many water parks for adults and children.

Hurghada benefits from wind-generated waves that grant the region the opportunity to practice activities like surfing; its climate is moderate throughout the year with low humidity rate which offers tourists the opportunity to enjoy swimming and sunbathing.

Entertainment activities, nautical sports

In Hurghada, people will never feel bored; hotels provide all means of entertainment for their visitors from all ages, like parties, sea sports, and competitions.

People can also make contracts with one of the nautical centers in hotels to rent yachts for trips with family or friends and enjoy the beauty of the sea, in addition to many activities like diving, and snorkeling.

Hurghada can be reached by car or a one-hour airplane trip from Cairo International Airport.
