Aden – Yemen National Army and National Resistance Forces have established their positions in Kirsch fronts between Taiz and Lahij, with air support from Arab Coalition Forces.

Sources at the resistance said that the legitimacy forces were able to control new sites like Qaren al-Elab, Wahid al-Manakif, and al-Sakhabra Mountain following heavy clashes which led to the death and injury of several militants and the arrest of a sniper.

During the past few days, army forces killed a number of insurgents and destroyed many of their military vehicles, while four army soldiers were killed and 15 others injured.

Spokesperson for Kirsch Fronts, Nasr al-Rafdani said that battles are intensifying in areas close to al-Sharijah and mountains overlooking al-Qabitah.

Meanwhile in Abyan, “Security Belt” forces continued its operations in arresting terrorists after the liberation of the governorate in August.

Sources at the Security Belt said that the security raids led to the discovery of a weapons warehouse and explosives factory in Zenjibar. The forces also arrested security and intelligence officials loyal to former President Ali Abdallah Saleh.

National army and resistance forces raided several houses in Abyan on Saturday of several wanted members linked to Ansar al-Sharia, military wing of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.

A security official in Zinjibar said that the force stormed houses of several wanted and arrested three of them.

Earlier this month, security forces found a warehouse for explosives and arrested several terrorist cells.
