New Saudi ambassadors recently assigned to a number of countries were sworn in before the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz on Monday at Riyadh’s Al-Yamamah palace.

Among the newly designated diplomats were Engineer Waleed bin Abdul Kareem Al-Khureiji, Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey; Reeyadh bin Saud Al-Khanini, Ambassador to the Republic of Argentine; Mohammed bin Hussein Madani, Ambassador to the Republic of Poland; Dr. Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Qahtani, Ambassador to the Republic of Uganda and Saad bin Saleh Al-Saleh, Ambassador to the Republic of Singapore.

During their swearing-in, the future diplomats reiterated an oath, swearing by Allah Almighty to be loyal to their religion, King and homeland; not to divulge a secret of the State’s secrets, maintain its interests and regulations both home and abroad, and carry out their works with honesty, sincerity and loyalty,’ reported state-owned news agency SPA.

The diplomats then have greeted King Salman and listened to his directives.

The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior; Minister of State and Cabinet’s Member Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf; Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi; Minister of State and Cabinet’s Member Khalid bin Abdurrahman Al-Isa and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Adel Ahmed Al-Jubeir.
