The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud sent on Tuesday a cable of congratulations to Donald Trump on his victory in the presidential elections of the United States.

In his cable, the King said: “I am pleased to send you, on behalf of the people and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in my own name, the best congratulations and wishes of good health and happiness.”

He also expressed hope that the friendly people of the U.S. would achieve further progress and prosperity, and wished Trump “every success” in his missions “to achieve security and stability in the Middle East region and worldwide.”

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques praised the “historic and tight relations between the two friendly countries that all parties aspire to develop and reinforce.”

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense have also sent separate cables of congratulations to Trump.

In their cables, the Crown Prince and Deputy Crown Prince expressed their best wishes of good health and happiness for Trump and the friendly people of the U.S. further progress and prosperity.
