Saudi Arabia’s embassy based in the United Kingdom issued a statement advising Saudi citizens living in Britain to keep to the security instructions supplied by local police authorities.

The released embassy statement reads that in in light of the alarming threats of terrorist attacks against the UK and Europe in general, the embassy hopes all Saudi citizens residing in each of the UK and Northern Ireland remain vigilant and steer clear from suspicious places and gatherings.

Facing an emergency, Saudi citizens are recommended to contact the embassy through dialing 00442079173000, or the unified center for Saudis abroad on 0096692003334. The embassy also called on Allah to protect everyone from all harm.

Britain’s new terrorism watchdog, Max Hill, has warned that the UK is facing a level of terror threat not seen since the IRA bombings of the 1970s.

Hill warned that the terror group ISIS was planning “indiscriminate attacks on innocent civilians” and expressed “enormous concern.”
