Riyadh- The meeting between Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, and the President of Burkina Faso, Roch Marc Christian Kaboré, tackled bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

The two parties also discussed in Riyadh on Thursday issues of common interest, including coordination of efforts within the Islamic Military Alliance to Combat Terrorism.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Essam bin Saad bin Saeed, minister of state and Cabinet member; Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir; Adviser at Royal Court Ahmed al-Kathib; Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor of the Defense Minister’s Office Fahd al-Issa; and the official accompanying delegation of the President.

In a different matter, the Council of Economic Affairs and Development held a meeting on Thursday evening at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh.

The meeting was chaired by Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz the Chairman of the Council of Economic Affairs and Development.

During the meeting, the council discussed a number of economic and development issues and took the necessary recommendations towards them.
