Crown Prince discusses with Venezuelan President ways of enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields (SPA) 22-01-1438 AH


Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Interior Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz discussed with visiting President of Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro ways of enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries on Sunday.

Enhanced ties will encompass all fields, particularly developing cooperation in domains of security to combat extremism and terrorism.

Regional developments and Middle East affairs were also discussed.

The meeting was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Minister of Interior; Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet; Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf, Minister of Interior; Khalid Al-Faleh, Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral resources; and Saudi ambassador to Venezuela Jamal Ibrahim Nasif.

Venezuela’s delegation included Mrs. Cilia Flores, the first lady of the Republic and a number of government ministers. Venezuelan ambassador to the Kingdom Khosiba Etchotigi also attended the meeting.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz had earlier also met with visiting Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Sweden Stefan Lofven and held talks on ways of improving bilateral relations between the two countries.
