Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, who is also chairman of the civil defense council, chaired on Wednesday the civil defense council session.

At the outset of the meeting, the Crown Prince highlighted security, stability and prosperity being enjoyed by the people of Saudi Arabia.

The meeting addressed a number of issues such as the national strategy for reducing risks, maintaining the safety of the information system, and rights and duties regulations shared by civil defense personnel.

The session was held at Crown Prince Mohammed’s interior ministry office in Riyadh, reported the Saudi state-owned news agency SPA.

The Crown Prince also commended great efforts exerted by members of the civil defense board and the close monitoring being provided on the implementation of safety regulations and protection from risks and disasters.

All emergency regulations and airport vetting were reviewed.
