Saudi Environment and Agricultural Minister Engineer Abdulrahman bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Fadhli stressed that climate change and disasters are one of the greatest challenges that affect agriculture in all its forms and in turn affect food security.

He further confirmed the need to unite and take measures to mitigate climate change and help developing countries in their efforts in this regard, reported the Saudi official news agency (SPA).

During the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s speech at the meetings of the 40th Session of FAO Conference held in Rome, Italy, the Minister Abdulrahman Al-Fadhli said that the Kingdom attaches great importance to food and water security, a matter that reinforces the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and its National Transformation Program 2020.
