The Royal Saudi Air Force is preparing for the upcoming joint drills with the Egyptian air force, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The Faisal 2017 exercises will take place in Egypt next week in line with the Kingdom’s great efforts to train all divisions of the military.

The drills are part of annual training aimed at supporting cooperation and ties between the Saudi and Egyptian air forces.

This will develop pilots and technical staff, earning them new combat skills and expertise through joint operations with the Egyptian forces, said SPA.

The drills are also an opportunity for the Royal Saudi Air Force to demonstrate its preparedness and expertise.

Next week’s exercises mark the 11th edition of the joint air force training between Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
