The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz has received a phone call from President Donald Trump of the United States of America, reported the Saudi state-owned news agency (SPA).

During the telephone call, they reviewed the historical relations between the two countries and discussed latest developments in the region and the world.

They also discussed joint efforts to combat terrorism, the drying up of its sources and confronting the countries that stand behind financing terrorism.

Enhancing the joint action between the two countries to combat extremism and seek security and stability in the region was also discussed.
