Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, met in Jeddah on Wednesday with Malaysian Defense Minister Hishammuddin Hussein, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and areas of cooperation, especially in defense, SPA said.
According to the state-run agency, the Crown Prince also met on Wednesday evening with the Russian president’s special envoy for Syria Alexander Lavrentiev.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and developments in the region, SPA said.
On Tuesday, the Crown Prince discussed with Iraqi Interior Minister Qassem Mohammad Al-Araji a number of issues of mutual concern, as well as counter-terrorism efforts, the agency stated.
The meeting was attended by a number of ministers and officials, it added.
