Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Council for Political and Security Affairs, chaired in Jeddah on Tuesday evening a meeting for the council, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

During the meeting, the council heard a political and security briefing on a number of topics, in addition to a number of developments in regional and international events, SPA said Wednesday.

The council took the necessary recommendations, the agency added.
