Yemen’s President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi expressed deep gratitude and appreciation for efforts exerted by Gulf Arab countries to salvage the situation in Yemen and restore constitutional legitimacy to the war-torn country.

President Hadi especially extoled all exertions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz for Yemen.

According to the Saudi state news agency SPA, President Hadi during the 71th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations, said that the great efforts exerted by Arab bodies such as the King Salman Relief Center and Humanitarian Action, along with other relief institutions in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states, to support the humanitarian needs and relief activities, in Yemen, are highly valued.

He called on all donor countries to push forward with previously made commitments on further supporting Yemen in a mission to alleviate the pain of its people.

President Hadi also pointed out that the aid provided so far covers only the primary needs; demand for relief remains ever increasing, given the difficult tragic situation in the country.
