Riyadh-Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud patronizes the National Forum for the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation of Children via the Internet, during the period between 15 and 17 November.

The forum is organized by the Public Security with international and regional participation, and it will be held at Ritz Carlton Hotel in Riyadh.

Assistant Director of Public Security General Jamaan al-Ghamdi said that administration, responsible of receiving notices regarding publishing porn movies for children to harass them sexually, has received more than 2,000 notices.

These notices, he said, were sent from local authorities and from the Interpol, noting that around 347 were taken to the Bureau of Investigation and Prosecution to complete the investigation process and then to be presented to the court.

Ghamdi stressed that the sanction of publishing porn movies to harass children online could reach up to five years in jail or SR3, 000,000 fines.

The forum will be attended by more than 12 countries and 15 parties in addition to a number of social organizations, international bodies and specialized national and regional assemblies.

Participants will get the chance to display their successful preventive experiences that contributed to addressing the children sexual exploitation via internet and protecting them from any harm.

Ghamdi pointed out that the forum focuses on a number of goals, starting from the message aimed to deepen the experience and skills among the participants in order to work on spreading preventive awareness on the dangers of children sexual exploitation via the Internet and technical means and present regional and international models.
