Riyadh – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz said Sunday in a speech that Saudi Arabia is facing challenges in the international community and must be cautious and alert as it works to achieve peace and stability.

King Salman made his remarks at the Royal Court at Al-Yamamah Palace as he welcomed Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir, senior ministry officials and heads of Saudi missions from abroad.

The king hailed the attendees’ efforts to serve and defend the religion and the country, as well as to well introduce the kingdom’s stances.

Jubeir stated to the king that “Your ambassadors to the countries of the world are men who keep their promises, bear responsibility and have faith. They appeared before you today to renew loyalty and testament and to assure the determination on keeping the sincerity and diligence.”

“Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, we stand before you today to listen to your wise guidance and to be acquainted with your insightful opinion,” added Jubeir.

The audience was attended by Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Naif – deputy premier and minister of interior – Minister of State and Cabinet member Ibrahim Al-Assaf, Minister of State, Cabinet member and Chief of Royal Court Khalid Al-Issa, Minister of Culture and Information Adel Al-Turaifi and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar Madani.

Jubeir also said at the inauguration of the general meeting of the heads of missions abroad to be attended by heads of missions and permanent representatives of the Kingdom at regional and international organizations that “the ministry is expected to update its practical steps, amidst the organizational and structural changes imposed by the National Transformation Program.”
