Brussel-Belgian Security Intelligence Body replied to Paris critics on concealing information about Salah Abdeslam name being mentioned on the list of those influenced by the extremist intellect. Evidence in this regards was poor, claimed the security intelligence body.

Salah Abdeslam name was listed since March 2015 in a data related to foreign fighters who are expected to travel to Syria, according to Belga News Agency. Abdeslam was in the fifth category of this list and just the fact that his name is there means that he has connections with ISIS.

Abdeslam, the only survivor among Paris attackers, traveled after hours of the assaults in his vehicle to Belgium. At the Belgium–France borders, he was arrested for thirty minutes then released.

End of this week, Sven Mary, the Belgian lawyer of the main suspect in the Paris attacks Salah Abdeslam, revealed that days after the attacks in November 2015 a relative of Abdeslam contacted him in the office. This relative then carried out repeated visits to the office to inquire about the legal benefits of surrendering oneself to the authorities.

Later on, nothing new was heard from the mediator and Mary attributed this to possible concerns by Abdeslam.

Furthermore, the French investigation authorities found the DNA of Jawad bin Daoud on an explosive belt. He is now facing charges of providing shelter to the Paris attackers. Days before that, Belgian Public Prosecution reported handing over Hamzah Oudo to the French authorities for being accused of contributing in Paris attacks.
