London- Britain celebrates on May 8th the 90th of the most prominent public figure, who was elected by television viewers as Britain’s greatest living icon. Sir David Attenborough had successfully changed the face of nature and animal discovery programs, so that they are reintroduced and in constant headway incorporating both technology and information.

Ever since the launch of Attenborough’s career, back in the 50’s, nature shows have been presenting a mixture of information, fun and visual amusement.

Attenborough, in his career, presented countless programs. The English broadcaster had joined BBC in 1952, at the time his experience was short to one show, however, in time Attenborough soared as the greatest nature show host in both Britain and the world.

His interest and love for nature were what had inspired his endeavor and are what lends him the strength needed for the 90-year-old to undertake even more projects.

In an interview with BBC1, Attenborough expressed that his first and foremost motive pushing him towards more work and action is the craft of broadcasting itself and the fun in hosting nature shows. He also explained how highly he appreciated gaining the trust of an animal which is both strong and friendly.

Attenborough inspired thousands of viewers, and has traveled across the world shooting shows in forests, seas and even in ocean depths. The latter was recorded as he boarded a unique submarine made of see-through glass which allows the passenger full view of what surrounds them.
