Makkah-Pakistani Minister of Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony Sardar Mohammed Yousaf said that the security conflicts and the problems of the Islamic World are the result of foreign interference and the exploitation of Islam by the enemies of Muslims.

Yousaf expressed rejection of Iran’s meddling in the internal affairs of Arab countries besides raging a war on the Syrians, led by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

In a statement to Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper, the Religious Affairs Minister stressed the importance of the Islamic nation’s unity, under the auspices of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The minister said that a meeting had been held with Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al Ash-Shaikh in which the two parties discussed strengthening ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Yousaf expressed appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the efforts exerted in expanding the Two Holy Mosques, serving the Muslims and contributing to safety and security.
