Islamabad, Asharq Al-Awsat- In line with the airlift program ordered by the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to assist victims of the earthquake which recently hit Pakistan, a plane carrying medical supplies left for Islamabad on Sunday.
Othman Al-Ghuweiri, the Director of follow-up, support and coordination at the Saudi relief team, said the plane was carrying 12 ton of medical supplies.
