DUBAI, (Reuters) – A Gulf agreement on monetary union is “more or less final”, UAE Central Bank Governor Sultan bin Nasser al-Suweidi said on Thursday.
The draft agreement is “more or less final, except for some typing errors,” he told reporters in Dubai.
Gulf finance ministers and central bank governors will next discuss the monetary union at a meeting in Saudi Arabia in September.
